Dr. Nicole Theiss, O.D.
Dr. Nicole Theiss was born and raised in the Toronto area and has always had a passion for education and health. After graduating from the University of Guelph with an Honours Bachelor of Science, she pursued her doctorate at the prestigious New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA.
Dr. Theiss is licensed to practice Optometry in both the United States and Canada and has been in practice since 2016. She is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, Ontario Association of Optometrists, and is a member of the Quality Assurance Committee at the College of Optometrists of Ontario.
Dr. Theiss loves to provide eye care to people of all ages, and is particularly interested in ocular disease, myopia control and dry eye management. She strives to create an approachable, casual environment for her patients, and as an educator by nature, loves to answer any and all of their questions with time and care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Theiss enjoys teaching Optometry students and developing Board Exam study content with KMK Educational Services, authoring two exam study guides including the NBEO Booster Book and OEBC Canadian Board Exam Study Guide. She also travels yearly to the Dominican Republic to oversee Optometry students and provide eye care to underserved populations with VOSH.
